Art from the Gardens 2014: An exhibit of all things green and growing
Art from the Gardens is a non-juried show of two dimensional work by artists of East Central Wisconsin 18 years of age and older. The exhibit will be hosted by Richeson School of Art & Gallery in collaboration with Creative by Design, (formerly Designing Women) and The Trout Museum of Art.

Drop off artwork from March 18th through 22nd from 10-4:00 pm
Hang exhibit from March 25th to the 31st
Exhibit from April 1st – May 3rd (Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
Wednesdays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
Pick-up artwork end of day May 6th by 4:00 – Saturday May10th by 4:00pm
Opening Reception: Friday evening, April 4th from 5:30-8:00
Media allowed includes watercolor, pastels, casein, oil, acrylics, pencil, pen and ink and charcoal. Supports allowed include paper, canvas, wood, and hardboard. Glass and mirrors as supports will not be allowed. Dimensions of the work should not exceed 40 inches (width or length) and 40 lbs.
Application process: Each artist will complete an application and send in entry fee and photos by March 7, 2014, to D. VandenBloomer, N1371 Highgreen Drive, Greenville, WI 54942. Download your application here.
An entry fee of $16 for the first piece or $24 for two pieces payable to D.VandenBloomer must be submitted with the entry/hold harmless form, a self addressed, stamped, 5 x 7 inch envelope and accompanied by photos of the piece(s) on or before March 7th,2014, the entry deadline. Photos will not be returned. Your art must be original, created by you, and completed in the past 3 years. No work done in a class, workshop or under supervision is eligible. No works of art will be exhibited that have not been submitted through the proper procedure. If the number of entries exceeds space available, excess entry fees will be returned. Invitation cards for the Opening Reception will be sent to exhibiting artists upon receipt of the entry form in the self addressed, stamped, 5 x 7 envelope each artist provides.
Art delivery: All art must be delivered and picked up in person during the scheduled days at the beginning and end of the exhibit which may limit the geographical area for participants.
All art must be labeled with the artist’s name and a price if it is for sale or NFS if it is not. Labels must include medium and support information.
Sales of Art: Pieces can be purchased through Richeson School of Art & Gallery. A commission of 30% will be charged. Richeson School of Art & Gallery will reimburse the artist the purchase price of the piece less the commission. Pieces must remain in the exhibit until the end of the exhibit.
